About the Cause
Helping Hand for the Helpless Foundation is a community-based organization dedicated to uplifting vulnerable individuals and communities through compassion, empowerment and sustainable development. The foundation works with orphans, persons with disabilities and families facing extreme poverty to restore dignity and create lasting change.
Helping Hand for the Helpless Foundation was founded in 2022 by Balema Chrisastom under the belief that every life has value and potential, Helping Hand provides access to basic needs, education, healthcare and economic empowerment programs ensuring no one is left behind. Their work goes beyond relief; it’s about building resilience and hope among Uganda’s most vulnerable populations.
