Our Disaster Relief and Management Services perform an auxiliary role to the Governments of East Africa, offering rapid, coordinated, and transparent humanitarian response during emergencies — from floods, droughts, disease outbreaks, and fires, to displacement and community crises. We stand on one promise: to help create a better world with you — through swift action, integrity, and faith-driven service.

Our Role in Emergency Response

PHU strengthens both national and community resilience by coordinating relief, recovery, and restoration efforts that bring dignity back to affected lives.
Our services include

  • Rapid Assessment & Deployment: Mobilizing resources and volunteers immediately after disaster strikes.
  • Relief Distribution: Delivering essential supplies — food, water, medical aid, clothing, and shelter materials.
  • Community Support & Counseling: Offering psychosocial support, prayer, and comfort to families in distress.
  • Recovery & Reconstruction: Supporting the rebuilding of homes, livelihoods, and essential infrastructure.
  • Accountability & Reporting: Ensuring transparency in all donor-supported interventions.
